Position Summary:

We are seeking a Human Capital (HR) Project Management Associate to support the Human Capital function at Nonprofit Finance Fund.

The  Human Capital Associate will report to the VP of Human Capital with primary responsibility for successfully project managing the staffing function, managing metrics and reporting, as well as learning, and supporting limited HR administrative tasks involved in nonprofit talent management.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and the support project management within the Human Capital team and more broadly across internal organizational clients;
  • Support recruitment function through full life-cycle recruiting;
  • Support the on-boarding and off-boarding process for new and current staff;
  • Support the online staffing and selection process with HR partners and hiring managers;
  • Manage data collection to support in the following areas:
    • Staffing and recruitment
    • employee satisfaction surveys;
  • Support the Human Capital team with various administrative tasks related and unrelated to staffing;
  • Support internship program and related job fairs;
  • Assist in the professional development process across the organization;
  • Coordinate employee events – celebrations, discussions, quarterly meetings;
  • Develop additional human resources projects, as appropriate;
  • Maintain compliant HR files;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Requirements for Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience or combined education and experience;
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills;
  • Prior work experience in a fast paced recruitment environment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills;
  • Proficient with Office Suite and Excel and PPT in particular;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong sense of integrity;
  • Proficiency with data collection instruments such as online surveys;
  • Attention to detail and strong system and analytical skills.

 

Specialized Knowledge/Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Prior knowledge and facility with project management and process improvement;
  • Prior knowledge and comfort with ATS and online recruitment;
  • Prior nonprofit sector work experience preferred;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • An openness to learning new skills and systems and an entrepreneurial work ethic;
  • Sense of humor;
  • Flexibility, diplomacy and discretion skills.
